Acrylic and acrylic pen on 21x15cm canvas panel.

There’s something about the sea that feels timeless; infinite and unending. It’s a passageway to endless discovery.

Making up approximately 70% of our earths surface, you can’t help but wonder if all the unanswered questions lay within ...

How much do you know about the sea? I’m sure we’ve all googled sea creatures and been amazed by how ‘out of this world’ some of them look.

They came first. And scientific research believes humans evolved from Saccorhytus, a 1mm sea creature that lived 540 million years ago, and is our earliest ancestor known to date.

We’re more connected to the sea than we realise. If the science is correct, it gave birth to us, and we should be treating it how we would treat our human mothers.

Something to think about next time you’re sitting in the beach with your picnic and litter 😉

This painting was created purely from imagination 💭
